Is having a child a right? or a privilege? What of "the child" and it's controversial "right to life"?

Doesn't having a right to be born include a right to educational, health, and cultural benefits and opportunities for even average students to get a job that will support a decent standard of living?

Or if there is no right to be born, no right to have a child, then how do we deal with those who abuse this privilege by creating unsanctioned babies? Is having a child a right? or a privilege? What of "the child" and it's controversial "right to life"?In this day and age it should be a privilege that one should earn. This world is getting too crowded. Is having a child a right? or a privilege? What of "the child" and it's controversial "right to life"?
What I do not understand is why the USA is arguing about abortion when they have one of the highest death rates for kids aged under five in the developed world.

FACT - the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet.

FACT - the US has higher death rates for kids aged under five than western European countries with universal health coverage.

That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in Canada, France, Cuba, Germany, Japan etc, all of which have universal health coverage. Is having a child a right? or a privilege? What of "the child" and it's controversial "right to life"?Having a child is a privilege...not all women have the ability. It is decision that must be made deliberately and fully knowing what the responsiblitites are, i.e., to make sure your child gets a good education, health care when needed and love. If you choose to have a child, the child is your responsibility, not the govt's or your neighbors. Is having a child a right? or a privilege? Children don't have a "right to be born", unborn children have no rights, only the mothers carrying them, hence 50 million abortions. Is having a child a right? or a privilege? The government should stay out of it unless abuse or murder is at hand.
