Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?

To the man?

Showing simple statistics like the percentage of divorces initiated by the woman, how much money a child will cost the man over his life time if he gets divorced etc?Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?Sure. If that changes a man's mind they shouldn't be getting married anyway.Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?
If you need the government to tell you that divorce is a possibility, a) you obviously don't trust the woman you're marrying and b) you're unbelievably stupid.Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?I honestly Do notDo you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?
men who hate paying child support for their own child have bigger problems going on than getting a divorce.Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?Actually, I think that both parties should be tested for STDs. This takes a bit more time, but I really think that anyone who is contemplating marriage should not be able to do it on the spur of the moment. There's really very few reasons why someone NEEDS to get married the same day that they decide to marry. My husband proposed to me, and we had to get blood tests and wait three days...he had flown over from Spain, where he was stationed in the Air Force, and you know what? It would have been better, I think, if we had been forced to wait for longer than three days. Getting a proposal is usually very flattering (I've had three proposals, and in each case, I was very, very happy about getting them) (I dated three men, so I'm 3 for 3), and the giddiness can overcome someone's good sense.

Incidentally, my sister initiated divorce proceedings against her husband...but she did this after he brought home a sexually transmitted disease from some skank he was having an affair with. Now who do you think is the wronged party in that case, hmmmm?Do you think that when you apply for a marriage certificate, a government health warning should be sent out?
Should women then get a health warning telling them men are more likely to cheat, more likely to be physically abusive, and more likely to become dependent on drugs/alcohol? Should that list also include statistics on deadbeat dads who do not pay child support?

Marriage isn't just a risk for men.
