How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?

I want to make a money transaction from icici bank to standard chartered bank. How much time will it take. Now days it is core banking so I assume it will be done instantaneously.How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?If you have already enlisted the Std Charted Bank A/C holder, then you can try through NEFT or RTGS mode of payment. NEFT takes 3-5 hours, on a working day. If you effect a transaction on a holiday, then it will get credited on the next working day. For RTGS, the minimum amount would be in lakhs. for smaller amount, try NEFT. Inter-bank transaction are routed through RBI, so instant credit is not possible, but takes a few hours. If transaction is within the same bank, then it will get credited instantly.How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?
if it is through neft(national electronic fund transfer),then it is instant.but it should be in banking hours.if it is through visa bill pay.then it will take 3 working days.How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?Hi,

It does not take more than 30 minutes. You must know the rtgs codes of the bank where you wish to transfer your money and the beneficiary account numbers and name.How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?1/2hours
