How do you get your child support case taken care of when CSEA does nothing for you?

My son's father has been on unemployment for four months now (yes, I know that for sure). He isn't having it taken out of his checks and he has failed to make any payments. He has now quit paying for health insurance. My son had to go to the doctor and I got stuck paying the bills (unknowingly). I have called the CSEA numerous times and they have done nothing....at all! What is my next step?

No rude comments needed! Thanks. How do you get your child support case taken care of when CSEA does nothing for you?LOL, under no circumstances do you EVER talk to a judge..that person is on crack!

CSEA has to put your case on enforcement, rather than financial, that way his social security number will pop up in the system and the child support will be automatically deducted from his unemployment, before he even gets it!

As for the medical, you can do an emergency add to your policy of your child and then sue him for the money for the Dr. visit and the out of pocket expense of you having to cover your child.

Personally I would never trust the ncp to pay for the medical stuff, I have always put our children on my insurance, that way I know they are covered, and this allowed us to get a boost in our child support because the ncp wasn't paying medical. How do you get your child support case taken care of when CSEA does nothing for you?I am in the same boat sweetie, there is nothing you can do but wait until they take it from him.How do you get your child support case taken care of when CSEA does nothing for you? That's a hard one. Are they even involved in your case? CSEA I mean? It seems weird that can do nothing. I suppose your next step would be to take it to court. Check out your local courts and find out how to have child support taken from what ever he earns, weather its goverment help or regular wages. Good Luck. How do you get your child support case taken care of when CSEA does nothing for you?
Go back to the Judge that issued your divorce, speak with him in chambers. Explain your situation and tell him that your ex is in violation of a court order that was issued by him. Bring your final decree with you, the judge can't remember every case he tried off the top of his head. The judge will have the bailiff put out a warrant for his arrest and notify you of the court date after he is arrested. If your ex pays through the court probation department they will have a record of his arrears and that will probably be what they will set his bail at plus cost of court. If he pays his own bail then he could have paid the child support. The judge isn't stupid. If he was ordered to pay for the children's medical insurance, bring the bill you had to pay to court so the judge can order him to pay that too. If it's in the order it's his responsibility. I never heard of CSEA, so I don't have a clue what to tell you about them. However, when you want action, go to the source which in this case is the judge that issued the final decree. Agencies and middle men sit on their hands too long if you ask me.
