I just got a new job coming out of college that offers benefits under Regence Uniform or Group Health. My parents' insurance is Regence Blueshield. Will I be able to be covered by my own and my parents' plan? If so, which one will be my primary? Do I have to change my insurance info. with all my doctors and medical supply companies?How does double coverage work in WA between a parent's insurance and a child's new job that offers benefits?Under Obamacare, once your employer offers you health insurance coverage, even if you choose to not take it, you no longer qualify for coverage under your parent's insurance policy.
