Am I allowed to deny my employer's health insurance?

I've heard rumors that the new health care reforms don't allow individuals to stay covered under their parents health insurance if their employer offers it. Since health insurance has been pushed to cover children up to 26, being 21, does anyone know if I'm allowed to deny my employers health insurance?

I can't find a definitive answer anywhere online.Am I allowed to deny my employer's health insurance? If you are 19 or older and offered insurance through your employer, you are no longer allowed to be on your parents policy. You can deny your employer's coverage and purchase individual insurance, if you would like.Am I allowed to deny my employer's health insurance? That's not a rumor, it's true - if you have coverage available through your employer, you're not eligible to stay on mommy's policy until you're 26.

But there's no requirement for you to buy insurance, either. Unless your employer pays 100% of the cost, you do NOT have to take their insurance. If you choose to not take it, your parents' insurance also does not cover you, and you become one of the uninsured.

I'm sure you realize, that your parent IS paying for you to be on their insurance - it's not free.Am I allowed to deny my employer's health insurance? If health insurance available from your employer you do not qualify to be on your parent's insurance. No rumor; fact.Am I allowed to deny my employer's health insurance?
Time to grow up... If you are working and get insurance coverage why would you expect Mom %26amp; Dad to keep paying? Is cheaper to pay them for your coverage instead of your employer?
