My boyfriend has been paying child support for his son for a while now, he wants to know how much child support has been taken out (since he started paying) and how much of it towards health insurance. How can I find out how much child support has been taken out in insurance only?Didn't he go to court for this? He can go down to the clerk of the court office and get a copy of the order.

If he has a IWO then he would have gotten letters from the court explaining how much they are taking out and why. (X amount for child care, X amount for child support, ect) If he has any back child support, they will take the normal monthly amount plus extra to pay off the back support. You should be able to log into his account with FOTC using his case number and what not. If he has health insurance on his son, then it will be paid out through his job not in child support. My husband, by law, must have insurance on his son, but that is paid out with our insurance. His child support comes out each week and is shown on his pay stub. He will have to pay child support till his son is 18 as well, it isn't like a one time deal/amount. Your question is a little difficult to understand exactly what you are looking for answer wise. Like I said, if he has arreages (spelling?) then they will/can take all of his check if they want, if his check doesn't cover the full amount they want him to pay, they will take 50% of his check, but only if he has back CS. So if he should be paying $200.00 a month for CS and his check is $100.00 a month, they will take $50.00, also, if he is behind and comes across any large amounts of money, like some one dies and leaves him money, and he owes his ex back CS she will get all of it. Rule of thumb, wear a condom or make sure you want to be with that person FOREVER because once a kid becomes involved, you are stuck together forever and it gets expensive. My husband pays $900.00 a month for ONE kid.How can I find out how much child support has been taken out in insurance only? Are you his accountant or employer?
If not, he's quite capable of finding this information out on his own. He's the one paying. You receive it. If he pays for insurance his employer or carrier has that information.
Not for you to do.
