I'm pregnant for the first time so I'm not hip on the health of kids these days, but I hear peanut allergies are on the rise and fairly common. I read it's because we have so much exposure to nuts through oil, lotions, food, etc. I'm eating almonds everyday for a high protein snack. Is this going to increase the chance my child develops a peanut allergy? Will eating nuts during pregnancy increase peanut allergy risk for my child?It鈥檚 actually the residue of the mold, not the mold itself that can actually cause an allergic reaction in regards to peanuts.
I'd be more concerned about pesticides and just overall chemical solvents in the environment.
Try and eat as much organic as you can to avoid those pesticides. Will eating nuts during pregnancy increase peanut allergy risk for my child?it depends where you live in the UK they say you shouldnt touch any form of peanuts while pregnant if there is any nut allergy in your family or his family then there is a chance of the baby being allergic to nuts
