Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?

and do schools protect the health and safety of their students?

thx:)Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?Don't get me started. The parents and families! Public schools have their hands full teaching academic subjects but now it seems they are responsible for raising our kids! Health, social skills, sex ed. Exactly when did they get out of the business of teaching academics and into the child rearing business?? Public schools should only be responsible for our kids during school hours, have a policy for detaining severe behavior problems until the parents or families can retrieve them.Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?
parents mostly, but schools do too. considering the amount of time they have to spend there. no, I personally do not believe schools do even a decent job and protecting the health of the students. If they did they would get rid of vending machines and stop making pizza and other crap food everyday and stop considering fries a veggie. that one really scares me. again parents do have a big part to play in all this. can you believe that when one school decided to rid itself of all vending machines that many parents went out with signs to march and protest it? how unbelievably horrid.Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?the parents and families - i want my son to learn maths and science, not how to make a healthy meal or how much exercise to take in a week!schools need to deal with the academics, parents with social responsibilities

they obviously do protect the health and safety, too much in my opinion.this ambulance chasing culture (thanks for that america) now means that a simple, normal childhood thing (like a fall in the playground resulting in a grazed knee) now has to be treated like a major bomb scare for fear of the school being sued and forced to close because they dont have any money left.when i was at junior school,we were taken to tehe school nurse, the injury cleaned and 'magic cream' applied then sent back out to play.no harm,no fuss

too many parents are now relying on schools to do their job - no wonder kids are leaving school unable to read and write, theyre too bust being taught how to put condoms on or 20 delicious way with carrotsWho do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?
oh, that soapbox, huh? the parents. actually the entire family.Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?Parents have the most responsibility, but it doesn't hurt if schools help.Who do you think has the greatest responsibility for educating children about health 鈥?parents or schools?
