What degree do I need to become a health teacher?

I want to learn about health and to be able to teach it. What degree is needed for me to learn about health and to teach it?

And is majoring in health somewhat similar to psychology? Because I want to double major. Or I was thinking of Psychology and Child development. What degree do I need to become a health teacher?Talk with the academic advisors/counselors in your school. They can tell you what steps you need to take to become a health teacher.

But to teach in California, if it's K~12, you'll need at least a BA and a teaching credential. in colleges and beyond, you'll usually need an MA+ , but not a teaching credential.

Health is a broader subject than Psychology. They won't go into any depth discuss Psychology besides some general theories. What degree do I need to become a health teacher?gym teachers usually teach health classes...but talk to a college advisor. They'll tell you what classes to take and most important, what you need to major in...you definitely will be taking education classes along with your other "health" courses. Hope this helps you!
