Does physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?

They say everything including feelings felt by the mother can affect the baby, so if the mother works out regularily, would that cause the newborn child to be born at a higher level of health than a baby born of a mother that relaxed through pregnancy.Does physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?Im not sure if the health per se would be higher for the baby. But taking part in physical activity while pregnant has many benefits. It can lower your chance of getting gestational diabetes and make labor faster and easier for both you and baby.Does physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?
Good question. I worked out and walked and always ate right during my pregnancy. Our baby boy was 9 lbs and very healthy now at 5 months but he is a VERY relaxed baby as well..So not sure if those 2 things are related.Does physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?if you before yes it makes up for the not good fat you might be feeding it or if after giving birth it is way to soon to get the baby to start exercisingDoes physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?
That is a good question, one that will likley get lots of different answers. I can only answer from personal experience- I had to be on rest throughout my pregnancy due to high blood pressure, and my baby is perfectly healthy- not one problem at all. I think the excersize is probably better for YOUR body during pregnancy, maybe not so much the babies health, though it oviously can't hurt!Does physical fitness affect the health of a newborn baby?Well, as bad as this may sound... I did NOT exercise, nor did I eat healthy during my pregnancy. My baby is completely healthy and very happy. I think it's good to take care of yourself period, however, I lost all of my baby weight, PLUS an additional 20 pounds by my 6 week post-pardum check up. So really, it's hard to say. Some women believe in different things.
