Can you have 2 health insurances at one time?

I am on my husband's insurance plan that he gets ffrom his job, but the deducible is too high and with the specialist I see and the tests I need for epilepsy we couldn't afford to stay with it if I am pregnant again. But I need his insurance for my epilepsy (the doctor won't accept Medicaid)

I think I might be pregnant again. I had Medicaid for my 1st child throughout my pregnancy and want to re-apply for it if I am since we are low-income and I don't know if it's possible to have 2 insurance's at once.

If I re-apply for Medicaid will they see that I have another health insurance or only know if I mention it. I don't like to use my husband's health insurance because I only need it for that specialist I have to see. Is this wrong?

I don't mean for it to come out wrong, but I mean this as a true question...Can you have 2 health insurances at one time?Yes you can and on the Medicaid application it will ask you if you have any other insurances. SInce you are a low income family, you should be able to get Medicaid. It's good that you have been doing what you have to for your health. Good LuckCan you have 2 health insurances at one time?
It all depends, Just try to apply for medicaid and see what they say.Can you have 2 health insurances at one time? You could get into a lot of trouble for lying to them about it. You can have two insurances. Your husband's would be the primary and Medicaid the secondary. Medicaid will pay for whatever the primary does not pay for.

Good luck! Can you have 2 health insurances at one time?
when applying for Medicaid you need to disclose any other forms of insurance. and to be honest w/you i never heard of them giving insurance if you already have it, but check w/ them you never knowCan you have 2 health insurances at one time?you can have two insurances at the same time but you will have to talk to the medicaid people. they are the only ones who can tell you if they will let you have both. Can you have 2 health insurances at one time?
Yes you can. My husband payed for my two older kids to get health insurance. Then the court ordered my ex husband to have health insurance also.
You can have two medical insurance plans at the same time, however I am fairly confident that medicaid would not allow this. Most people have two forms of insurance with their primary being through their own employer and their secondary through having a dependent status on someone else (spouse/parent).

I don't know for sure what Medicaid's position is on this but I am almost positive that they would not provide medical insurance to someone who already has insurance.

I am 100% confident that you absolutely MUST disclose your insurance status with Medicaid. Failure to do so could put you in a position where they will require you to pay back any and all of their assistance.
