Part time Health care jobs or child care jobs that only require a high school diploma? Read details, please!?

Hello. I am currently taking my pre-reqs for the nursing program. I have worked at PetSmart for almost a year now and I am getting sick of it. I feel like I am wasting my time. I want to gain experience in the field I want to go in to...NURSING. I don't care if I just sit at a desk all day. Anyone have any advice? Know of any kinds of jobs I could get? I want to specialize in something related to infants or young children.

Thanks!Part time Health care jobs or child care jobs that only require a high school diploma? Read details, please!?Look into the hospitals in your area. The medical field is still pretty much hiring and going full steam ahead. Anyway, most hospitals have positions that don't require anything more than a High School diploma or GED. Get into any position you can and your in - you'll have the inside "scoop" on all of their departments and fields of study - then you can decide which career route you want to take.

This way you would be able to get some exposure, but you wouldn't really be able to do a lot of administrative stuff, until you're able to know the terminology.Part time Health care jobs or child care jobs that only require a high school diploma? Does your nursing program require that you obtain your CNA license before starting? Get it now and find a job working as a CNA. Or you could work in a hospital (pediatric unit?) doing patient transport (taking them from their room to procedures and back, etc.). For transport you usually just need to be CPR certified.
