I never really liked the DH rule but after witnessing it in inter league play these guys are just not ready to do it. this is a stupid idea. wah-wah my pitcher got hurt running the freakin' bases, that's his fault, hitting the ball and running the bases is part of the game. the league rules apply to certain parks. thats why the all-star gamehas a DH every other year because its played in an AL park every other year. you cant take 130+ years of history in some parks and just change it like its nothing. its the game, the way it was played for decades, so no you cant change the rules because some guys arent used to swinging a bat
and look at felix hernandez. he hit a grand slam as the only hit he may well ever have as a pitcher. if they were using a DH in shea that night he wouldve never had that once in a lifetime opportunity

Just the opposite, actually. I think the DH should be removed from all interleague play. Think of it this way. When the AL team sets their DH, its a power hitting star whose payed to play about 155 games per year. When the NL team sets their DH, its a 4th outfield bench player who would fill in and have mediocre hitting that wasn't good enough to get them into the regular lineup. The NL team isn't going to pay a power hitting star to play 15 games a year and occasional pinch hitting.
Remember. The pitcher is playing BASEBALL, which involves running bases. The DH is playing BASEBALL, which involves fielding the ball. The Manager is managing BASEBALL, which involves pinch hitting for the pitcher, or having the pitcher bunt the runner forward, or pinch running for the pitcher if he somehow gets on base. The DH idea removes most of these strategies in AL play.
no beacuse then when the A.L pitchers have to bat in the W's they wont have the experience of stepping into the batters box it's good for them to get the practice if they did not want to bat then they should not play baseball go into field hockey or checkers.

NL teams that want to remain "pure" or "true" or whatever can, per the rules, opt not to put a DH in the lineup and let their pitchers hit. Which would be funny!

my hometown team is the indians so i love seeing our pitchers get an opportunity to bat when we play interleague. its great when u get to see CC Sabathia belt a 440ft homerun out to right field. i think the rule should remain intact.auto parts stores

One would think that because of their vulnerability, they would wear more protective clothing on their nether parts. But no, they ended up wearing skirts which are very susceptible to the vagaries of wind, terrain not to mention unwelcome stares and touches. I prefer answers based on physiology and psychology. How do I get a license to buy r22 Freon, is there a test somewhere on the inter-net I can get?

True intersexed and hermaphrodites are very rare. Typically, someone may appear to be intesexed, but modern medicine can determine which sex they actually are. From your description, you are the true, rare type that modern medicince can't completely determine which sex the person should be (thus the parents and doctor have to decide when the person is an infant what sex to raise them as). - This part of the answer is for the many that have answered and don't seem to understand what you mean by intersexed, and are assuming transexual/transgender.

Bishop's are expected to approach such situations with a lot of prayer, and to seek help from their priesthood leaders (such as a stake president, area authority or first presidency).

I'm not sure what you believe but I believe that God, in His mercy, never puts on anyone more than they can handle (I'm quite a testament to that!) and through prayer, you may recieve some important guidance. I've never heard of someone who's DNA cannot be determined to be either male or female. You're different, rejoice in it!

I can't be much help either as I am not LDS.
But here is my opinion. Not everyone is born perfect. Some people have obvious problems from day one and many of these are corrected with surgery. Things that are not life threatening are usually delayed. I consider this a delay. If you wish to have a gender than I don't think the LDS or anyone else for that matter has a right to tell you otherwise. It's easy for people to judge when they don't face the same issue. If the LDS kicks you out, there are still plenty of other spiritual paths that are open to you, or you could continue to follow your own spiritual path on your own. People are not perfect. The LDS may think they know what should be done under these circumstances, but that doesn't make it so.

There is help for those who want to counteract such feelings, and do not espouse them. For whatever reason your mind thinks that, that does not affirm that God made some mistake or that you should give into such an inclination.
God created us as male or female for a purpose, it is a part of our eternal identity, and not to be controverted merely by some temporal mental inclination, or, in my opinion, chemical imbalance.
Again there is nothing wrong with having such a nagging feeling trouble you, it's giving into it and embracing it that is against God's clearly defined law.
Finally, since we are in a fallen world God does allow for a few (very very very rare exceptions) true hermaphrodites or female/male chimera to come out in genetic mishap. Then their sex may or may not be determined conclusively by DNA analysis. When the issue remains unresolved then it becomes a matter of prayer, pondering, personal revelation, and finally it would probably require an inspired pronouncement in a patriarchal blessing.
Make no mistake that the spirit that inhabits a body is either male or female, and 100% of the time the physical body reflects and attests to your eternal gender when the gender is physically discernable.

How was a portuguese Referee allowed to officiate a team managed by the most well connected and infamous portuguese coach the world has ever known? Are not referee's supposed to be from impartial nations? Who is officiating the return next game? Is anyone else out there crushed to hear Figo is retiring completely from football today? Figo was, in my opinion, the best Portuguese player ever, and to find out he is retiring now that Inter's season is over is absolutely disturbing. I want to start training for the Inter- college bodybuilding competition in August 2007?
I have participated in the powerlifting contest this year (held last week ). Should I take a short break or start training immediately ?I want to start training for the Inter- college bodybuilding competition in August 2007?I am a Natural Bodybuilder myself and though I have toyed with powerlifting to break through training plateaus I have never consistently trained that way. As you no doubt know, bodybuilding training is completely different from powerlifting and if your competition was last week, you should take between 7-14 days off from your show to rest, then get back into training as a bodybuilder. Those small muscle groups that you have not worked individually as a power lifter need to be developed for the show. It can be done in a year and two weeks will give your body a chance to recover, hormone levels to return to normal, and a fresh mind for the task at hand. The thing that you should be more concerned about is the dieting that you will have to endure for contest prep. let me know how it goes and good luck,

Graphically interchangeable Format, this can be created in Adobe Imageready, my personal favorite. (I think these people probably are using some sort of 'widget', so you'd have to ask them specifically what they used, if it's on these certain types of sites though.) If you want to make a movie, you can open up Windows Movie Maker, import the picture files and put them in the media timeline, and it'll change between them. If you want to make a .gif, you'll need a .gif editor, such as Jasc Animation Shop, which is a really cheap one. Then you can import your pictures and set them as frames, add trasitions if you'd like and save it as an animation.
If you have Photoshop CS2 or CS3, it can also save animated .gifs, using layers to create the animation--you'll have to go into the 'windows' menu and open up the Animation toolbar.
I can't be more specific than that unless you actually have an animation program. :) Keep in mind that an animation can get really large in file size, really fast, so keep the amount of frames down so it loads on the internet, and .gifs also only save with 266 colors or something like that... so your pictures won't look really good.
