Yesterday I bought two tacos at a Chinese restaurant for my child. Within 30 minutes he threw them up.
Should I call the board of health on this place? It looks dirty. Should I let them know that this happened? I'm kind of pissed.Should I call the board of health on this restaurant?I'm thinking TWO tacos might just be a bit much for a child to eat and that's probably why he threw them up. Just like the kids who order too much popcorn and sweets and chocolates at the cinema where I work often end up throwing it up. You can still call if you think it looked dirty and they'll inspect the place, but even if it is dirty, it might not be the reason why your child threw up.Should I call the board of health on this restaurant?
I would, but for future reference, if the view to the customer appears dirty, just think what the back must look like. Also, even if the dining area is immaculate, check the bathroom, again if that is dirty, think what the prep area must look like. I would advise you to leave before even ordering your food.Should I call the board of health on this restaurant?I agree with the others. If it looks dirty to you, don't eat there. Two tacos is a lot for a child. Also, try to not order foods that they don't specialize in. Ordering tacos at a Chinese restaurant is an odd choice. You really don't have proof that the tacos caused your child to vomit. I wouldn't order won tons at a Mexican food restaurant.Should I call the board of health on this restaurant?
If it looked dirty, why would you eat there in the first place? And who eats mexican food at a chinese restaurant?Should I call the board of health on this restaurant? If I saw a resturant looked dirty then I wouldn't eat there; point blank. So maybe that was a bad desicion on your part and depending on how the tacos were made maybe something in the taco didn't agree with him, maybe he was just sick. You don't know. You can make a complaint, I guess.Should I call the board of health on this restaurant?
There are many things that can cause a person to vomit. Eating something that didn't quite sit right on the stomach is just one of them. Vomiting can be caused by a virus, eating too fast, eating too much or eating things that are greasy. None of those things can be blamed on a restaurant. A one time episode of throwing up is not a significant symptom of something so serious to require a call to the health department. If your son is showing signs of food poisoning such as cramping, diarrhea, fever, fatigue, and loss of appetite than you would have cause for concern. For food poisoning, symptoms can start quickly, but it is more common for the onset to be several hours to several days after eating the tainted food. If it would make you feel better you can file a complaint with the health department, but since there is no signs of food poisoning I doubt they'll do much more than a minimal investigation. If an eating establishment is questionable in anyway simply don't eat there.
