Looking to find out if we can just kind of play it by ear and by flights between the islands or purchase them ahead of time?Is it better to purchase your Hawaii inter island flights ahead of time or when you are on your trip?Hello,
I recommend purchasing your inter-island flights ahead of time. I also recommend going with one of the smaller, local air carriers (see links below). Last time I was in Hawaii it cost me only $39 for an inter-island flight - way cheaper than on Hawaiian Airlines.
With the smaller carriers, just purchase a ticket for the last flight of the day. If you want to leave sooner, just show up at the airport and they can usually get you on an earlier flight. It's like a bus pass! Usually there isn't a fee, but be sure and check with the carrier.
Have a great trip!
P.S. You should try scuba diving while you're in Hawaii. It's amazing. Is it better to purchase your Hawaii inter island flights ahead of time or when you are on your trip? You can usually get away with playing it by ear, though the best fares and the most convenient flights tend to disappear about a week before departure. Transportation to the smaller islands--Molokai or Lanai-- is severely limited, and a high school sports tournament, for example, could keep you from buying tickets at the last minute.
If you like to take photographs from moving planes, you might consider a smaller airline that flies a 9-seat propeller plane. Those often have bigger windows that are less scratched up, and they fly closer to things you want to photograph, like cities and mountains. Because it is a more visceral flying experience, you will probably want to wait until after you land to eat.Is it better to purchase your Hawaii inter island flights ahead of time or when you are on your trip?My suggestion is to buy them ahead of time. There are three airlines that do interisland flights:
www.hawaiianairlines.com
www.mokulele.com
www.iflygo.com
These airlines all have low fares for certain flights...sometimes as low as $39 pp one way. Those flights fill up quickly and then you are stuck with the higher-priced fares. I have seen interisland fares for as much as $129 pp each way! If you know when you are going to travel, buy ahead of time to save money. These tickets aren't open-ended and you will have to pay the difference if they have to rebook you on another flight at another time.Is it better to purchase your Hawaii inter island flights ahead of time or when you are on your trip?
When I did that in 2007, I booked all of the flights in advance on Hawaiian Airlines. The advantage is that you can book the whole itinerary as a multi-destination trip (just click on the check box on the home page). That's usually a better price than you can get on separate flights. Better still, you might be able to fly from one island to another then home from the second island without flying back to the first one. That saves both time and money.

How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?
I want to make a money transaction from icici bank to standard chartered bank. How much time will it take. Now days it is core banking so I assume it will be done instantaneously. How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?If you have already enlisted the Std Charted Bank A/C holder, then you can try through NEFT or RTGS mode of payment. NEFT takes 3-5 hours, on a working day. If you effect a transaction on a holiday, then it will get credited on the next working day. For RTGS, the minimum amount would be in lakhs. for smaller amount, try NEFT. Inter-bank transaction are routed through RBI, so instant credit is not possible, but takes a few hours. If transaction is within the same bank, then it will get credited instantly. How much time it take for inter bank transaction ?

How many of you believe in inter-religious marriages (mainly Hindu and Muslim religions) ?
I personally believe, their is no harm in this. If a Guy and a girl love each other beyond the religious restrictions. Means they decide to respect and co-operate with each others religious and cultural feelings. And I am very much sure on this that True lovers can sacrifice everything for their love.
It can also help to develop understandings between the religions by knowing and respecting each others religion.
It can also prevent mankind from destruction, riots, terrorism and religious fallacies.
Do you feel the same ?How many of you believe in inter-religious marriages (mainly Hindu and Muslim religions) ?i am a muslim and all i believe in is marring other muslimsHow many of you believe in inter-religious marriages (mainly Hindu and Muslim religions) ?
I don't feel this as a best answer.

Thanks to all for sharing your opinion.
I strictly disagree with the concept of marriage between same religions.

I believe in inter-religious marriages... In fact...I'm muslim..And my bro's wife is Christian and my bro's muslim..
You're right..It can prevent a lot of destruction...
I like the way you think! =P
A Muslim man is not permitted to marry a Hindu woman. It doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks about there being any "harm" in it. Muslim men are only permitted to marry Christian and Jewish women. This is clear in the Quran.
Muslim women are not permitted to marry anyone other than Muslim men. Again, it doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks, it's clearly stated in the Quran.
If a man wants to marry a Hindu woman, he should tell her about Islam, and if she accepts Islam, then he can marry her. Otherwise, he should move on. It is not permissible, and that is all that should matter.
Our faith should matter more than anything else. The life in this world is temporary; the next life is the one that goes on forever. Do you want to spend the rest of eternity suffering for your defiance of God because you thought a law given to you by God didn't matter, and that "happiness" in this world was more important???How many of you believe in inter-religious marriages (mainly Hindu and Muslim religions) ?
sweety the fact remains that muslim women ( by muslim law) can only muslim guys,,,, but i dont mind if a muslim guy want to marry a non muslim except if she doesn't believe in god
I'm a strong believer in it. I think that the love is only better if you can respect eachother for everything. I wouldn't care what religion the guy I marry has, so long as he's a good person. I think that the more we become friends with eachother, the less discrimination there will be.
I wish you the best of luck in your relationships!
It can be done, I know people who have done it, but there is always going to be conflicts. Most of the conflicts are external to the couple, i.e., family beliefs and friends telling them what is right or wrong.red robin menu

@ Andygurl, yes he was on the Inter fans areaHow funny was it when they turned on the Sprinklers to Kick off Inter?Bit childish don't you think..
Guess it depends which side of the fence you sit as to whether it was funny or not :p
As for the other thing with Jose, some say he was disrespecting Barca and some say he was at the Inter fans area. Either way Valdes had no right to put his hands physically on Mourinho or anyone else.
Edit:
^^^^ Thankyou for clarifying that. I was running around at the time getting my children ready for school..lol
Hey Nins xxx lol @ ur comment..hehe.
must of missed thatHow funny was it when they turned on the Sprinklers to Kick off Inter?LOL it looks like Valdes needed a permission to touch The Special One.
We will see how funny it will be tomorrow when poor Liverpool beats you... believe me losing against an English team is MUCH more humiliating than losing against Italian Champion. How funny was it when they turned on the Sprinklers to Kick off Inter?
Not funny. Crap Nou was full of sore losers

If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man?
I really want to know how many of you, if you were being robbed by a man of Obama's racial background, would say that the thief was an inter-racial man.If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man?Not likely. I would likely suggest he could be a biracial man, but that he was definitely a light-skinned man with non-African facial features. So what?
Do you believe people most often are a product of their raising? Is it not relevant for us to recognize who raised him and who abandoned him? Is it appropriate for others to disrespect the part of his family that raised him, sacrificed for him, loved him, and molded him just because it satiates their own racial agendas?
I get your point. I hope you get mine.
EDIT - I getcha. But I mentioned the disrespect of his white family because many (perhaps not you) have. It is very relevant in terms of who is, and who he is isn't just about what he would be described as by a robbery victim. I'm sure a co-worker, or a neighbor, or someone that knew him but was not robbed by him would note the same as I have above....that he does appear biracial, or at least has European features. I've known many blacks and others to confuse Italians for Mexicans and Indians for Arabs. Does it make the Indian robbing a black guy any less Indian because his victim didn't have a conversation with him to learn of his actual background?
I don't think any "rules" are being changed. Since of the end of Jim Crow, the only "rules" that existed have been in the minds of some, on both the black and white sides of the table. Where I come from, biracial and mixed have been a part of the vocabulary for decades. If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man?
I would not seek the police, because Arabs typically do not steal cars.
Clearly, though, it could just as easily be a women, or a white person, or chinese person, or hispanic, etc.
But yes, generally people call half-black, half-white people black. Though there are some instances where the person looks more white, then they are called white. I have not called him black once, and I correct anyone I hear who does. I think it has more to do with appearance, than background. For instance, someone who tans too much can be mistaken for a light-skinned black person.
very interesting. dude your mind is so awesome and your intelluct is so amazing. I would say that a black man was stealing my car because he heritage is black. In this society most times we only see the surface. For example if someone looks white, then they are white and if they look black then they are black. Like Charlize Theron is African-American(Black) but with a first look you would think that she is white. He is also Hawaii, but that neither makes him black or white it makes him hawaiian. If Obama classifies himself as black which he does, then he is black. If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man? It's pointless to make people answer you when you, yourself, already know the obvious answer. Like we don't know many blacks have some white in them. Don't worry, Presidency or not, majority of us whites won't be trying to claim him as our own anytime soon. Never did, never will.
That said, what we do understand is that he is half white and that half is what helped him gain the acceptance he needed. It could also be argued that Obama was able to climb this far and high due to his superior white genes helping out. While his black side represented the change of his platform, the radical side. In a way Obama was lucky. He happened to be at the right place, the right time. If it wasn't for the monster of a mess that Bush made, I'd bet my life, there would be no Obama today. So you can all really thank George Bush.
And here's another thought, it helped Obama that he isn't what we normally associate with black attitudes. Think Jesse Jackson's hot headedness to Obama's cool and calm approach.
So it would have been a far greater achievement (and astonishment) if someone either very pro-black or with fully black genes won. Perhaps people such as Oprah. As you saw with Jesse Jackson, he never stood a real chance at ever becoming accepted when he tried to run for Presidency. Part of his problem was (regardless if he had white in him or not), he was/is much too pro-black and radical to be taken seriously.
So in answer to your question. We would of course see that thief as a black at first glance. But you cannot truly use that kind of example to justify or compare. It is a lot more complicated than that. As you should be more than aware. Namely that just because we now have a "black" President in the White House, it doesn't mean that will stop what you think is racism.
Besides there's also a theory that some whites voted for Obama just to see his downfall. I'm thinking those whites are not trying to link him to the white race anytime soon.
So I'd wait for bragging rights just a bit longer. If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man?
no matter how hard everyone is going to try to deny it, if obama wasn't out in the media, and news of his white mother had never came out, everyone would say he was black. but ever since he won this election, people always want to bring up the point that he is half white, when obama himself has said that he is black.
back to the issue of stealing a car, i will bet money that if a man of obama's racial background was to rob a car, the first thing they would tell the police is that it was a black man, and people can thumb me down for it all they want, but i've seen it with my own eyes. the same way you see all the so called pit-bulls killing children in the news, half of them are not really pitbulls. most of them are a mixture of another dog and pitbull, or another breed separately, but people are so quick to label them as a pitbull whenever they do something bad because they have the reputation of being bad dogs, the same way with black men.
uhh... Dude this is a trippy question anyways do you mean features or complexion cuz complexion I'd be like " uhm so darkish guy jacked my car" lol you can't tell by color you have to see defined features that come from different countreis. If you saw a man with Obama's complexion stealing your car, would you tell the cops it was an inter-racial man?
I wouldn't know if he's inter-racial.
I'd just probably say "a light brown man"
Or I'd compare his skin color to a celebrity or something.
I would say he looks mixed because he does. He does not look like a black man of any nationality, and he based on his facial shape/features, he does not look like a Black American.
No, because first of all some black people have light skin, and second of all I'd just be concerning myself with how the dude looked, not his race.
i'd say he looked and is most likely mixed (black/white)
i'd give an accurate description. he doesnt look like your typical black guy, so i would not say he was just black
No propbly light skinned, or hispanic. ;b its not gonna work.
of course not! I would NEVER say he was an interracial man, I would say he was a biracial man
well,he does not look FULL black..so I would say he is probably bi-racial!

Why would it take until 1965 to strike down laws that ban inter-racial marriage?
That seems like an awfully long time for such laws to be on the books... Crazy ignorant. Why would it take until 1965 to strike down laws that ban inter-racial marriage?Because America was highly segregated until the 1960'sWhy would it take until 1965 to strike down laws that ban inter-racial marriage?
BECAUSE A GREAT DEAL OF PEOPLE THEN WERE OK WITH THE BAN . SO BEFORE YOU CALL ANY ONE CRAZY IGNORANT YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT WAS THERE THINKING THEN .Why would it take until 1965 to strike down laws that ban inter-racial marriage?Native Americans and Black Americans were not even afforded civil rights until 1963.
Inter-racial marriage was only one of many things that were banned for these citizens.
One hundred years earlier the Emancipation Proclamation freed slaves.
That was slow to come, too, and millions lost their lives fighting in a civil war for their beliefs-for or against slavery and recession.
There was no such emancipation for Native Americans. Why would it take until 1965 to strike down laws that ban inter-racial marriage?
